About Us

Yashogram is an attempt to make our villages prosperous. By prosperity, we mean that the people living there have access to amenities like health, clean drinking water, education, electricity, and infrastructure.

While the government, civil society, and corporates are doing their bid to make our villages prosperous, there is still a long way to go. Ignorance, among villagers about what all is available for them and where; and among those who are working to bring them to modern living standards about who needs what is a critical issue.

We at Yashogram want to aim to be the bridge that connects both.

We criss-cross the villages (in Rajasthan to begin with) understnding their needs, meeting various stakeholders in the development and looking out for people who are working on their own to innovate and find solutions for better living of people at large.

Yashogram is helping to connect innovative talent in villages to the apt stakeholders in the outside world who are ready to invest their resources for the larger good. We are helping villagers to understand and access rural policies of the Government and communicate with Govt officials on what the villagers want from their policies.

In our bid to do so we want to ensure that the traditional elements and rural ecosystem remain intact and villages don’t turn into a replica of cities. We want to modernize them in acts and thoughts but not in values.
